To obtain financial support from Avenir d'enfants, knowledge acquisition and transfer projects linked to the creation, production, adaptation, dissemination and appropriation of knowledge must meet the following criteria, although not exclusively:

  • be based on theoretical foundation and bring to light winning conditions for early childhood and family interventions;
  • be innovative in form or content;
  • have the support of solid partners;
  • be complementary to existing actions;
  • have the potential to cause major, lasting change;
  • provide for an evaluation framework with performance indicators.

It is important to note that following the analysis of global action plans and projects, Avenir d'enfants decided to set three priorities for assessing the projects that are now subject to acquisition and transfer of knowledge. They are:

  1. preventive action to address delays in language development;
  2. support the development of 18-month-old children to 3½ years;
  3. development of a relationship of trust with parents in disadvantaged areas.

Avenir d'enfants wants to establish a dialogue with the sponsors and can play an advisory role, supporting the sponsor in the pre-project or project planning process. Avenir d'enfants monitors the project regularly to ensure it progresses smoothly.

If you think that your knowledge-sharing project meets these six criteria, write to us to learn more about how to obtain Avenir d'enfants support and formulate your request before April 15th or October 15th.
